My daughter just finished her softball season last month.
The team didn’t do all that well, but she is happy that she received a softball trophy for her efforts (hey, I understand that – I loved those baseball trophies when I was in little league as a kid). And kids love those things regardless of what sport they’re in – golf trophies and soccer trophies are common in youth leagues around here.
