Keep those kids safe

I've got a couple of kids around the house. Yes, they're out of the baby/toddler years, but I well remember what those were like -- the little rascals got into everything they could access.

At times, their curiosity was fine. At times it was annoying. At times it was downright dangerous. As a parent, it was my job to do whatever was necessary to keep them safe.

Of course, one  way to make sure kids aren’t getting into anything harmful is to keep an eye on them constantly (the same goes for pets, by the way). That’s just not practical – kids have a lot more energy than parents do and tend to sneak off to places they shouldn’t go when parents are distracted or taking a break.

What can you do to keep junior from playing around in the laundry room or wandering down the hallway? How about that dog that just won’t stay out of your bedroom? Put up a safety gate, hoss, and rest easy.
